Reflections 9: Creative Writing Exercise
In our Creative Writing lesson, we looked at how to generate ideas, looking at how to write a screenplay, structure, dialogue and so forth. We were given a task that required us to work in pairs and form our own newspaper headline using scissors, glue and newspaper. I found this task interesting as it allowed us to be creative. This is what me and Julia came up with:
Our next task was to, on our own, pick 3 words in any magazine and create a story using them. I created a paragraph around the word 'Hungarian ferry leaves'. I found this challenging, yet fun to do because it got me thinking creatively and refreshed my memory of story-writing, something I hadn't done in a while.
